Style star: Cate Blanchett and Carey Mulligan at Cannes Festival

The first day of the Cannes Festival has gone and, looking at the celebs' looks, I appreciate very much Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen. The gown is from the Pre-fall 2010 collection: there is a silver eagle in flight on the bodice and a tull underskirt comes out from the underside.
I think she looks perfect, her beauty is crowned with this goth-like dress.
Il primo giorno del Festival di Cannes è andato e, guardando ai look delle celebs, ho apprezzato davvero tanto Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen. Il vestito è della collezione Pre-fall 2010: sul corsetto vi è un'aquila d'argento in volo e, dalla parte inferiore viene fuori una sottogonna di tulle.
Trovo che sia veramente perfetta, la sua bellezza è coronata da quest'abito in stile goth.

Everyone has noticed that all the celebs was at Costume Institute Gala except for Lady Gaga. Where was she?
Well, Gaga actually was at the Met as a guest of Miuccia Prada and she wasn't wearing one of her unusual outfit, strangely. We have just one photo of her sitting next to Miuccia with a Prada tuxedo on.
