Balenciaga fall 2010 shoes

It's insanely awesome how a complexity of shapes and materials propers to architecture can be translated into a shoe with this surprising result. I really heart these shoes! And they're all so breathtaking that I can't tell which one is my favorite.

Nicolas Ghesquière said “Cosmonauts and seventies Formica. Packaging and food boxes. Synthetic foam and plywood. And a kind of rigidity” were his inspirations to make these shoes.
What else can I say? They are themselves an inspiration.

Backbone Dsquared2 shoes

These days Luisa Via Roma is celebrating its site's 10th anniversary with the Firenze 4ever event, where the most influential fashion bloggers of the world were invited. While visiting the Luisa store in Florence, the bloggers discovered a cray and wonderful pair of shoes by Dsquared2 which everybody went mad about (me too!).

These heels are to die for, I truly love the skeleton-inspired design also because I've never seen something like that before. And it's quite difficult to find something completely different in fashion, 'cause everyone is based on some other stuff.

And to finish, look at this photo I took from Bryanboy's Twitter and above all notice the expressions on the people's faces, they're so surprised and make me laugh; since I'm from Italy, I know damn well Italians and I can imagine that those people aren't thinking well of Bryan! LOL
