Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop S/S 2010

Another collaboration for Topshop: this is the turn of Meadham Kirchhoff. Infact Benjamin and Edward, the designers of the label, have made a capsule collection based on neutral tones like black, nude and navy.
The items go back over a melancholic and dark atmhosphere, that I really love.
The collection is influenced by the designers' assistant Erin, "whose way of layering eclectic pieces of borrowed, vintage or found items, the collection tries to explore this idea of mixing together different items so that each piece looks great individually or mixed with other pieces from the collection."
The collection is available from today at Topshop and prices goes from £55 to £300.

I think it's pretty unusual and I kinda like it. What do you think?

Kate Moss for Topshop SS 2010

Kate Moss, for the 12th time, shows her collection for Topshop. And what's better than a film by Nick Knight, seeing that lately fashion movies have the better?
In this video the English model just dances in a ray of light, she seems so fresh and adorable that I almost can do nothing other than envy her!
I also love the background music, "Be brave" by The Strange Boys, that she chose herself.
What else? I just love it!

La modella inglese, in questo video, semplicemente balla in un raggio di luce e sembra così fresca e adorabile che non posso far altro che invidiarla!
Adoro anche il sottofondo musicale, "Be brave" degli Strange Boys, che ha scelto lei stessa.

Dion Lee S/S 2010

I'm amazed looking at Dion Lee S/S 2010 collection, shown at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (rafw) last Thursday at the Sidney Opera House.

In this collection you can identify two main trends that are definitely contrasting: the first one is defined by psychedelic prints that remind me of Proenza Schouler SS 2010; the second one is totally mastered by draperies and pleats. The only elements that joins these two different patterns are the sandals: the same mold red or white.

What do you think about it?
