Menswear S/S 2011 - Part 2: Milan fashion week

I have really too little time to blog these days, because I'm going on a 15 day trip to London in July and now I have already to organize, renew my documents, deposit money on my prepaid card, buy things I need and much more stuff like that... Anyhow, I don't wanna bore you with my problems, I just want you to know that I'll try to do my best, but, at least this week, I can't be very "active" on my blog.
Having said that, let's move on menswear again. The fashion shows and parties marathon at Milan fashion week has just gone and now the attention is completely heading for Paris. I followed the past fashion shows religiously via Internet, watching some of them live in streaming or reading The Fashionisto all the time to keep up on the others.
I chose my favourite looks from the catwalks, so here are the highlights:

Foulards for (in order) Giorgio Armani, Iceberg and Salvatore Ferragamo

Vertical stripes at Dolce & Gabbana, Iceberg (with polka dots) and Salvatore Ferragamo

Prints from Giorgio Armani, Alexander McQueen (designed by Sarah Burton), and Versace

The new jeggings by Versace (which presented a very bad boy on the catwalks), Emporio Armani, Burberry Prorsum and Frankie Morello

Short tops at Calvin Klein and Frankie Morello

Fluo colors like Jil Sander for Dsquared² and Giorgio Armani (the last one)

Dark atmosphere at Burberry Prorsum, Emporio Armani (with clear recalls to the collaboration with Lady Gaga for Alejandro) and Versace

I also loved the traditional Sicilian caps (coppolas) shown by Dolce & Gabbana

And finally the Prada collection, which has been so controversial that I couldn't compare it with any others.

And that's all. What do you think?

I love Bryanboy!

I just twittered that Sundays are the only days full of downtimes and I love them just because of that.
So, to keep me away from boredom, I thought of going on Polyvore to create some cool outfits. Then I got an idea and I realized that I had to do something about Bryanboy. I really really really love that guy!
I just got inspired by him and this is the result:

The ankle boots are from Prada (they're enchanting!) and I obsviously put in this set the BB bag by Marc Jacobs (the bag that Marc designed for the Filipino blogger) and the Bryanboy's symbol: the Marc Jacobs limited edition sunglasses.
What do you think?
Don't forget to visit my Polyvore profile to see more sets made by me.
And follow me on Twitter here and on Bloglovin here!
What's more, I joined Lookville, a fashion community where memberships are by invitation only. I've got five invitations to invite someone else, so contact me if you want to become a member.
That's all, bye bye mes chieris!

Prada Print collection

Bryanboy has defined it a mix of Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Lanvin. And he said that because of evident reasons.
New "Print collection" by Prada is an explosion of colours and patterns that are taken from an archive of Prada prints. The items remind of 50's and the collection focuses on shoulder bags and ballerina shoes made with fabrics from cottons to silk.

The collection will be in Prada stores in mid-May.
 Hot or not?
As far as I'm concerned, I think it could be very interesting, but perhaps it's not exactly something we've never seen before, right?

Hot or not?

Lady Gaga at Met

Everyone has noticed that all the celebs was at Costume Institute Gala except for Lady Gaga. Where was she?
Well, Gaga actually was at the Met as a guest of Miuccia Prada and she wasn't wearing one of her unusual outfit, strangely. We have just one photo of her sitting next to Miuccia with a Prada tuxedo on.

Later, on the stage she performed wearing a Armani privè catsuit.

Looks like she didn't want to get herself noticed... Or was it just another way to make people talk more about her?
